Technology Use Policy

Blossom County High School Library Technology Use Policy:

The library offers access to computers, the internet, and digital resources to help students with their schoolwork and research. To make sure everything runs smoothly, here’s what we expect:

  1. Educational Use: Technology in the library is for school-related activities like research, assignments, and reading. Please use the computers and internet for educational purposes only, unless granted by library staff.

  2. Respectful Behavior: We ask that you treat the equipment and space with respect. Be mindful of others using the computers at the same time.

  3. Privacy and Security: Keep your login info, passwords, and personal details private.

  4. Internet Access: The internet is here to help with your research and school projects. Please avoid using it for social media, gaming, or anything unrelated to schoolwork unless granted by library staff.

  5. Resource Access: We have great online databases, e-books, and other resources available to help with research. Printing is allowed, but please use it for school-related purposes.

  6. Accountability: All students must follow school rules when using library technology. If any of the rules are violated, you may lose access to the computers during the class session or have the librarian monitor your work area.

  7. Support: If you need help with tech, ask the library staff. We’re here to guide you and help you make the most of the resources available.

By following these simple guidelines, we can make sure the library’s technology helps you succeed and keeps everything running smoothly for everyone.

Feel Free to contact the library staff for any questions! Leave your name, email, a message, and we will reach out to you as soon as possible.
